This is Lesson 4 on Day 2 in the Teaching Alive Theme 5 unit aimed at ages 9-11 (Year 5 & Year 6 in England and Wales). It is the first lesson in a Art teaching unit based around visiting Mars. In this lesson we find an activity to do in our spare time whilst on Mars. We want to create some art but only have scissors and coloured paper. We take inspiration from the artist Matisse to design a collage inspired by our journey to Mars.
