Also included are the seven differentiated photocopy masters to accompany Lesson 1 in a teaching unit looking at naming 2D shapes. In this lesson we karate chop to count sides before using pictures and actions to remember shape names.  We review and test.  We then write it (working through examples) and talk it (having a go before checking answers). Differentiation is provided for different ability groups- an activity extends to regular and irregular polygons.
